WHO WE ARE
Africa's platform for women's economic participation in continental integration.
Tindira Foundation helps African women and girls earn more, trade more, own more and prosper more through the opportunities created by the AfCFTA, regional value chains, finance, digital trade, culture, sport and enterprise.

Mission
To equip, connect and position African women and girls to participate in, trade across, and prosper from Africa's integrated markets.

Purpose
To convert Africa's integration into practical economic opportunity for women.

Vision
To convert Africa's integration into practical economic opportunity for women.

Our emblem a lioness and her cub carries the purpose: strength passed from one generation of African women to the next, and the fierce protection of opportunity.
We turn Africa's integration into practical economic opportunity for women not inspiration alone, but income, trade and ownership.
How can African women and girls earn more, trade more, own more and prosper more through Africa's integration?
Everything we do answers this question.

Earn More : Access to the export sectors and value chains where trade lifts women's wages and formalises their work.

Trade More : Practical capability to trade across borders under the AfCFTA : customs, standards, digital trade and finance.

Own More : Moving from trading to owning : businesses, brands, IP and equity within continental value chains.

Prosper More : Measuring whether integration is actually translating into prosperity for women, through the Tindira Prosperity Index.

AFCTFTA FOR WOMEN
Africa's platform for women's economic participation in continental integration.
The African Continental Free Trade Area is building a single market across the continent. But trade agreements are not gender-neutral without deliberate effort, women are left at the margins of the very economy they help drive.
Tindira exists to close that gap: to make sure African women are not bystanders to integration but earners, traders and owners within it equipped to use the new instruments built for them.
